ARC - Tracking tropospheric sulfur
May - August 2025: As ARC fellows with Renaissance Philanthropy we designed a programme to create new technologies for monitoring, modeling and analysing the effects of tropospheric sulfur emissions.
September 2025 - December 2026: We develop an early warning system for critical thresholds of the Subpolar Gyre. Our model will be based on novel dynamics-informed machine learning approaches using a combination of observational and model data. Upon successful completion of the project, our model will be deployed online as an interactive website to provide the foundation for open communication with public facing stakeholders.
